To whom it may concern: It is springtime. It is late afternoon.
-Kurt Vonnegut

Okay, I got nothin’ right now. I’m too busy to compose a proper post, but I really needed to write something so that my bare legs were no longer the first thing you see on this page!

So anyway, what’s the first thing you do around this time of year that makes you feel like spring has really started? For me, it’s giving myself a pedicure and wearing a skirt and sandals for the first time (hence the picture below).

  3. Sam Says:

If I said “ditto” you’d probably just assume I was serious.

  4. Lushy Says:

    Holz actually means it though…

I’ll take serious and non-serious answers alike. Whatever floats your boat.

And here I thought I was going to get responses like “opening day of baseball season” or “flowers blooming.”

  6. daveT Says:

    flowery bloomers?

  7. Stan Says:

Cut my freakin lawn. I hate doing that.

  8. Amber Says:

leaving my windows wide open all night. I love that.

  9. Lushy Says:

Not much since the weather is pretty much the same where I live. I guess popping the top on the Camaro and wearing t-shirts instead of sweatshirts to jog.

  10. Holz Says:

    Going to the beach.

    Balcony sex.

Cursing Lushy every hour of every day.

  11. daveT Says:

turning on the AC for the first time… which happened btw last saturday night…

Reemergence of spiders. :( I nearly screamed yesterday when I noticed a gigantic spider came swimming at where my leg was hanging in the pool. And I thought they were bad in PA…

Besides that, there really isn’t anything from my old life that carries over. This is my first Spring! ^_^

Haha, that reminds me of an amusing scene here in my office last week. I heard squeals and raised voices coming from the other room, where two of my students were being held captive by a hornet. It was up to me to rescue them, so (though I hated to do it) I ended up killing it with a clip board.

Holz, you’re my be-otch and you love me.
