More Map Fun

Filed under: — Kate @ 11:13 am EST

Well, since we’ve been having so much fun with maps, I thought I’d keep it going.

Larakin did this a while back, and I just thought it was so cool that I decided I had to make one for myself.

So put yourself of the map. Well, my map.

Whether you’re a casual visitor or an everyday reader, a lurker or a regular commenter, I want to know where you are. You can remain anonymous if you want.

I like the new featurs of this! the Actual user profiles are nice instead of just the maps. You can change you Pint to be exactly on your location, and they all link together! good stuff

Very nice site. But I prefer the smooth dynamism of Google Earth.

As for where I am… click the “->” key 3 times, and I’m in there somewhere.

Or to give a more precise answer…

    Longitude : 4.304344382534126
    Latitude : 50.80953936745505

Of course, that’s metric, but it can tell you where I am right now.

When I did my little pushpin thing, I saw Stan’s pic and whas like, “Damn, I gotta meet this Stan guy, he looks like Slater from Saved by the Bell, or even Dean Cain. Wait a second….”

  9. Stan Says:

HAHA!!! Now take off 5 inches…of height, and add 50lbs and a beard and glasses. That’s me.

Degrees longitude and latitude are metric, huh? I guess in the american system we’d have to use radians? :-)

Nah, you yanks use the tried and true ancient Babylonian method. Degrees, minutes and arcseconds.

Who says nothing good ever came from Iraq?
