I’ve Officially Crossed Over to the Dark Side

Filed under: — Kate @ 6:37 am EST

Well, I’ve finally gone and done it. I’ve succumbed. Given in. Been beaten. Broken down.

However you want to look at it, there’s no going back.

Yesterday, I bought an iPod.

*cringe*

For years, I swore I would never own any Apple technology. But over the last year or so, I felt that conviction slowly slipping away.

And then last night, it was gone.

Okay, so technically, I still don’t own any Apple technology. Edo does. I bought it for him.

But let’s face it, folks… I’ll be using it on occasion.

I’ve turned us into pod people.

What have I done?!

UPDATE: Heya Phillyist!

Good for you. They’re awesome little chunks of technology. Plus, some day when your kids are downloading the songs directly onto the chips in their heads, you can bust out the old fart iPod and talk about the good old days.

Actually it’s not, that’s just the picture they use (the bastards!). They don’t even sell the U2 ones anymore.

It’s just the new video iPod (which is all you can buy new right now besides the nano and the shuffle).
