City of Blinding Lights

Filed under: — Kate @ 2:30 pm EST

Every trip needs to have a beginning, and for us, that was Tom and Melissa. We had a great time at their wedding, and a lot of fun exploring Las Vegas afterwards. And of course, we would never have gone on our fabulous road trip if they hadn’t invited us out to Sin City first.

So here’s to Tom and Melissa!

And here are some pictures for you.

We’re waaaaiting….

Here comes the bride!

The Italian and me.

I’ve got you… under my skin…

Lights. Camera. Action!

Holz getting fresh with the Lady Jen.

Yeah, I’m dancing with your girlfriend. What are you gonna do about it? Take a picture? That’s what I thought.

The inside of the Luxor, (where we stayed the second night) as seen from outside our room on the 19th floor.

That’s me looking very tired at the Venetian.

Ahhh, Paris. Or the closest I will ever get to it, anyway.

The fountains at the Bellagio.

The MGM Grand.

    Wow, that wedding looks amazing.

And having not seen you in a few years, I can honestly say that you’ve changed quite a bit since I saw you last. I’m sure you would say the same about me.

    Kate is mad hott.

Really? I don’t think I look all that different.

And thanks, Kamin. But how about that gorgeous bride?? :-)

  4. Stan Says:

I can’t really explain why I think you look different. I guess you just look more mature. That’s a good thing in case you were wondering. It could also be the fact that it looks like you’re wearing make-up which I never remember you doing. DISCLAIMER: You could have worn make-up all those years and I was just too inconsiderate to notice.

Anyway, I e-mailed you pics of me and Krista and the baby.

Never wore much in high school, you’re right. And I had bangs back then, too. *ugh*

And awesome about the pictures–I’ll have a look.

  6. Stan Says:

Weird as it sounds, the bangs might actually be a big part of the difference I’m noticing.

  7. Kate Says:

    Love the pictures, Stan.

And I’ll see if I can find an old embarrassing “bangs” picture for you….
