For all of those who asked, or were curious, here is the tentative route we are planning to take out West.

Edit: Edo is a pain in the ass.

Update: We’re no longer staying at the San Remo on Saturday night. They’re turning it into a Hooters and there’s construction mess everywhere. So now, #1 on the map = The Luxor. :-)

Looks like a great trip! It also looks like you will be very close to me. I live in Durango, just off your 32 and 33 Marks. If you would like a local guide for some mountainous activities I would be happy to show off my area!

That does sound like a terrific trip. When Phoenix and I did it, we went straight from 20 to 43 and then came back out and went down to Sedona. The Grand Canyon is awesome and then some. Like I knew it would be awesome and then I saw it and was just “Wow. This is AWESOME”. You guys are going to have a great time. Just have broken-in water sandals/shoes if you hike up the river in Zion. Blisters = ouchie!

Thanks for the offer, Larakin. Maybe we’ll take you up on the offer if we have enough time. :-)

I’m definitely looking forward to the Grand Canyon, Melissa. We’re going to be staying there in the park for our last night of the trip.

The only other definite reservation we have is camping in Bryce Canyon on the 18th (at least, I think it’s the 18th).
